Parameter
cost: is the interface cost value, in the range of 1 ~ 65535. The default value is
automatically calculated according to the interface baud rate.
Description
Using the ospf cost command, you can configure the cost of the OSPF protocol.
Using the undo ospf cost command is to restore the cost of the OSPF protocol as
the default.
Example
# Set the cost of sending a packet on an interface at Serial 0 to be 2.
[3Com-Serial0] ospf cost 2

3.1.25 ospf dr-priority

Syntax
ospf dr-priority value
undo ospf dr-priority

Parameter
value: priority of the interface, which determines the qualifications in voting
"Designated Router" (DR), ranging from 0 to 255. By default, it is 0.
Description
Using the ospf dr-priority command, you can configure the priority of an interface in
DR election. Using the undo ospf dr-priority command, you can restore the default
priority.
The priority of a route interface decides the qualification of the interface in DR election,
and the interface with higher priority is considered first in the case of collision among
several candidates.
