Syntax
update slot slot-number ftpserver { host-name | ip-address } filename file-name
[ port port-number | user user-name | password password ]

Parameter
slot-number: The slot number of the upgraded card.
host-name: The name of the host containing the file to be upgraded. If the host name
is not configured before upgrading the card, the sysname command should be used
to configure FTP sysname in the system view.
ip-address: IP address of the host containing the file to be upgraded.
file-name: The name of the file to be upgraded for the card program.
port-number: The port number of the specified FTP server.
user-name: Legal login user name registered on FTP server.
password: Legal login user password registered on FTP server.
Description
Using the update command, you can upgrade the card on-line. Currently, online
upgrade does not apply to cards of versions lower than certain versions. Upgrade of
4SA and NDEC is supported. The name of the on-line upgrade file is *.drv.
The system will display the following information according to different situations:
1) On-line upgrade succeeds. The Console will print the following prompt
information:
End of programming successfull! Total 131072 bytes written.
2) On-line upgrade fails. The Console will periodically print the following prompt
information:
Please enter the update request command for slot number!
After the display version command is used, the information on the slot will be
printed:
(card name) driver needs to be updated
