Parameter
portnumber: The number of the port listening to the Reverse Telnet service of an
interface, which is in the range of 1025 to 65535. The defaults are:
The listening port for the AUX interface is numbered 3000.
The number of the listening port for a synchronous serial interface (Serial
interface) equals to 3000 plus the index number of the interface in the same type
of interfaces, with the index numbers beginning at 1. In other words, the port
numbering of the synchronous interfaces begins at 3001, so the first
synchronous interface is numbered 3001 and the second 3002, and so on.
The number of the listening port for an asynchronous serial interface (Async
interface) equals to 2000 plus the index number of the interface in the same type
of interfaces with the index numbers beginning at 1. In other words, the port
numbering of the asynchronous interfaces begins at 2001, so the first
synchronous interface is numbered 2001 and the second 2002, and so on .
Description
Using the reverse-telnet listenport command, you can configure the number of the
port listening to the Reverse Telnet service for an interface. Using the undo
reverse-telnet listenport command, you can restore the default number of the port
listening to the Reverse Telnet service.
By default, the interface adopts the default number that the system assigns to the port
listening to the Reverse Telnet service.
