Parameter
class-name: Name of a class, up to 16 characters.
Description
Using the fr-class command, you can associate a class with a Frame Relay permanent
virtual circuit (PVC) or Frame Relay interface. Using the undo fr-class command, you
can cancel the association between the class and the Frame Relay PVC or interface.
By default, no class is associated with the Frame Relay PVC or interface.
If the specified class does not exist, this command will create a class to associate with
the current PVC or interface. If the specified class exists, this command will only
associate it with the current PVC or interface, instead of creating a new class.
The undo form of this command will only remove the association between the class
and the PVC or interface without deleting the actual class. In this case, if using the
display current-configuration command to view the configurations of the router, you
can still see the configuration of class. To delete the class, use the undo fr class
command.
For related commands, see fr class, fr dlci.
Example
# Associate the class named as "one" with the Frame Relay PVC whose DLCI number
is 200.
