2.46 LITER (150 CID) FOUR-CYLINDER ENGINE
Clean the mating surfaces of the manifold and
cylinder head.
NOTE: If the manifold is being replaced, ensure
all the fittings etc., are transferred to the
replacement manifold.

INTAKE MANIFOLD INSTALLATION
Position the replacement intake manifold gasket
(2) on the cylinder head and install the intake
manifold (1).
Install the remaining attaching hardware.
Tighten all the bolts and nuts according to the
sequence depicted in the illustration. Tightening
torque is 31 N-m (23 ft-lbs).

Install the vacuum hoses.
Install the throttle body studs and replacement
gaskets.
Install the throttle body.
Connect the linkage and hoses.
Tighten the throttle body mounting nuts with 19
N-m (14 ft-lbs) torque.
Connect the fuel pipe and air horn vent hose to
the carburetor.
Connect the ISA motor wire connector.
Install the power steering pump mounting
bracket, if removed.
