This procedure describes how to upgrade one of the Routing Engines using NSSU. When
the upgrade completes, the backup Routing Engine is running the new software version
and is the new master. The original master Routing Engine, now the backup Routing
Engine, continues to run the previous software version.
To upgrade one Routing Engine using NSSU:
Download the software package by following the procedure in "Downloading Software

Copy the software package to the switch. We recommend that you use FTP to copy
