Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 9.0 for EX Series switches.
Configure an EX4200 switch as a member of a Virtual Chassis configuration, or configure
an EX8200 switch or an XRE200 External Routing Engine as a member of a Virtual Chassis
configuration.

In an EX4200 Virtual Chassis, each EX4200 switch has a member ID between 0 and 9.
In an EX8200 Virtual Chassis, member IDs 0 through 7 are reserved for EX8200 member
switches and member IDs 8 and 9 are reserved for the master and backup external
Routing Engines.
