24.3.5 Cable Connection
STEP 1: Connect the VS-32(Dual) to LAN by using an appropriate LAN cable.
Before connecting VS-32(Dual) to LAN, be sure to execute "PING" command to check

- Is the new IP address assigned correct?

STEP 2: Check the lamp indications on the front panel of VS-32(Dual).
When VS-32(Dual) succeeded in registration, ON LINE lamp lights green after a while.
When feature data is assigned on the Telephony Server side by PCPro, the lamp corresponding to the
feature will go out. The lamp flashes when feature setting has not been completed.

Data memory backup is recommended after confirming the VS-32(Dual) assignment on the Telephony

1. Execute ASECL command to confirm the setting.
2. On "Certified Terminal Assignment" tab, check "Certified Terminal" and then click Read button.
3. Certified Terminal List is displayed. Confirm the MAC address of assigned VS-32(Dual) is listed.
4. Execute MEM_HDD/MEM_HDD_N command to backup the data memory.
