STEP 4: Does the CONF/ANNC/MOH lamp go OFF?
[Not go OFF]
Check the data assignment of the Telephony Server side and VS-32(Dual) side.
Telephony Server side:
- Is the data assignment on PCPro correct?
VS-32(Dual) side:
- Is the configuration data assigned from the maintenance console correct?
[Goes OFF]
Go on to STEP 5.
STEP 5: Speech test through VS-32(Dual). Call origination OK?
[Call origination does not operate normally]
Check the station data. Assign the station data again if required.
Does the telephone terminal normal? (Connect test terminal if required.)
[Call originated normally]
Go on to STEP 6.
STEP 6: Speech quality test through VS-32(Dual). Any abnormal delay or noise are found?
[Call quality is not adequate]
Check the call quality is good on station-to-station call.
Adjust the setting of PAD, payload, and jitter buffer.
Check the sound quality of music source files.
Check the configuration data assigned from the maintenance console.
[Call quality is adequate]
Go on to STEP 7 when CF memory card is used for announcement and music-on-hold feature.
Please take note that delay may occur a little longer on conference calls than station-to-station calls.
Note 1:
STEP 7: Is the CF lamp lighting green? (This test is required when CF memory card is accommodated to use
announcement and music-on-hold feature.)
[Not light]
Check the CF memory card is accommodated. If not, insert the CF memory card in the slot.
