4. Install the steering wheel to the steering column
using the tapered bolt (1). (Refer to 19 - STEER-
ING/COLUMN/STEERING
INSTALLATION).
5. Install the driver airbag and screws (1) to the steer-
ing wheel.(Refer
STRAINTS/DRIVER AIRBAG - INSTALLATION).
6. Do not reconnect the negative battery cable at this
time. Perform the Supplemental Restraint System
verification test procedure after servicing any Sup-
plemental Restraint System component. (Refer to 8
- ELECTRICAL/RESTRAINTS
PROCEDURE).
