SIREN SIGNAL OUTPUT CIRCUIT (CONTINUED)

MEASURE THE VOLTAGE OF THE SIREN SIGNAL OUTPUT CIRCUIT
Turn the ignition on.
Measure the voltage of the Siren Signal Output circuit at the Siren har-
ness connector.
Is voltage present?
Yes >> Repair the Siren Signal Output circuit for a short to volt-
age.
Perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST.
No >> Go to 3

MEASURE THE RESISTANCE OF THE SIREN SIGNAL OUTPUT CIRCUIT
Turn the ignition off.
Measure the resistance between ground and the Siren Signal Output
circuit at the Siren harness connector.
Is the resistance below 10K ohms?
Yes >> Repair the Siren Signal Output circuit for a short to
ground.
Perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST.
No >> Replace the Siren.
Perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST.
