SEAT BELT BUCKLE
DESCRIPTION
The left and right front seat belt buckle restraint sys-
tem switches are located in the respective buckles.
The seat belt buckles are bolted to the base frame of
the seat. The seat belt buckles are a typical buckle
design with a release button on the top to free the
seat belt.
The left and right front seat belt buckle restraint system monitors the status of the driver's and passenger's seat belt
switch. The airbag unit can be ignited if the seat belt is not fastened during the initial triggering threshold.
REMOVAL
1. Move the seat to the full rearward position.
2. Remove the seat track front bolts (1).
