INSTALLATION
Install the side collars.
Place the rear wheel into the swingarm.
Be careful not to
damage the VS
Install the drive chain over the driven sprocket.

Apply a thin coat of grease to the rear axle surface.

Install the adjusting plate and rear axle from the left
side.
Install the adjusting plate and rear axle nut.
Adjust the drive chain slack (page 3-17).

SHOCK ABSORBER

REMOVAL
Remove the side covers (page 2-4).
Support the motorcycle using a hoist or equivalent,
and raise the rear wheel off the ground.
Remove the screws and mud guard.
