FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION/STEERING
Remove the bolts and brake hose joints.
XL700VA:
Remove the bolts and brake pipe clamps.
Support the brake caliper with a piece of wire so
that it does not hang from the brake hose and pipe.
Remove the bolts and brake hose clamps.
XL700V:
Support the brake caliper with a piece of wire so
that it does not hang from the brake hose and pipe.
Loosen the fork top bridge pinch bolt.
When the fork is ready to be disassembled, loosen
the fork cap, but do not remove it yet.
Loosen the fork bottom bridge pinch bolts.
Pull the fork leg down and remove the fork tube.
