FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION/STEERING
Tighten the fork cap to the specified torque if it was
removed.
TORQUE: 22 N·m (2.2 kgf·m, 16 lbf·ft)
Tighten the fork top bride pinch bolt to the specified
torque.
TORQUE: 26 N·m (2.7 kgf·m, 19 lbf·ft)
Install the brake hose joints and bolts.
XL700VA:
Install the brake pipe clamps and bolts.
Tighten the bolts securely.
Install the brake hose clamps and bolts.
XL700V:
Tighten the bolts securely.
Install the front wheel sensor, wheel speed sensor
XL700VA only:
cover and bolts.
Tighten the bolts securely.
Install the following:
– Front wheel (page 13-20)
– Front fender (page 2-13)
