ELECTRIC STARTER
Install a new O-rings to the bolts.
Install and tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 4.9 N·m (0.5 kgf·m, 3.6 lbf·ft)
INSTALLATION
Apply engine oil to a new O-ring and install it to the
starter motor groove.
Install the starter motor to the crankcase.
Route the cable

Install the ground cable and tighten the bolts

Install and tighten the terminal nut to the specified

TORQUE: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf·m, 7 lbf·ft)
Install the rubber cap securely.
Install the rear exhaust pipe protector A and exhaust
pipe protector B (page 2-20).
