LIGHTS/METERS/SWITCHES
GROUND LINE
Check for continuity between the Green/black wire
terminal and ground.
There should be continuity at all times.
If there is no continuity, check for an open circuit in
the Green/black wire.
BACK-UP VOLTAGE LINE
Check this line if the odometer/trip meter does not
function.
Measure the voltage between the Red/green wire
terminal (+) and ground (–).
There should be battery voltage at all times.
If there is no voltage, check the following:
– Open circuit in the Red/green wire
– Blown fuse (TURN/CLOCK 10 A)
– Open circuit in the Red wire
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Remove the headlight (page 20-6).
Remove the dust cover and disconnect the combi-
nation meter 20P (Gray) connector.
Remove the screws and combination meter.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
TORQUE:
Combination meter mounting screw:
1.0 N·m (0.1 kgf·m, 0.7 lbf·ft)
