HYDRAULIC BRAKE
Coat a new piston seal with clean brake fluid and
install it into the seal groove in the caliper.
Coat a new dust seal with silicone grease and install
into the seal groove in the caliper.
Coat the caliper pistons with clean brake fluid and
install them into the caliper cylinders with the open-
ing toward the pads.
Check the caliper boot and replace it if it is hard,
deteriorated or damaged.
Apply silicone grease to the caliper sleeve outer sur-
face.
Install the caliper boot, sleeve and pad spring in the
caliper.
If the caliper pin bolt is removed, tighten it to the
specified torque.
TORQUE: 27 N·m (2.8 kgf·m, 20 lbf·ft)
Check that the pad retainer is in place on the caliper
bracket.
Install the slide pin boot into the caliper bracket.
INSTALLATION
Check the bracket boot and replace it if it is hard,
deteriorated or damage.
Apply silicone grease to the caliper pin bolt sliding
surface.
Install the rear brake caliper to the bracket.
