HYDRAULIC BRAKE

Replace the piston, spring, primary cup and piston cup as a set.

1.5 N·m (0.2 kgf·m, 1.1 lbf·ft)

RESERVOIR CAP

Apply silicone grease to the push rod and master

piston contacting area.

Coat the master piston, primary cup and piston cup

with clean brake fluid.

Install the primary cup onto the tip of the spring.

Install the spring, primary cup and master piston/

push rod assembly.

Install the spring, primary cup, master piston and

push rod assembly.

• Do not allow the piston cup lips to turn inside

Apply silicone grease to the push rod boot fitting

1.5 N·m (0.2 kgf·m, 1.1 lbf·ft)

18 N·m (1.8 kgf·m, 13 lbf·ft)

1.5 N·m (0.2 kgf·m, 1.1 lbf·ft)
