Loosen the clutch lifter plate bolts in a crisscross
pattern in several steps.
Remove the lifter plate/bearing and clutch springs.
Unstake the clutch center lock nut.
Be careful not to
damage the
mainshaft threads.
Hold the clutch center using the special tool and
loosen the clutch center lock nut.
TOOL:
Clutch center holder
Remove the special tool and clutch center lock nut.
Remove the spring washer and thrust washer.
