RAID 0 technology

Most of the GEN5i disk options support RAID functionality. RAID is an
abreviations for Redundant Array of Independent Disks. RAID technology
exists in many different form each with their own specific usecase. Within this
manual only the GEN5i used RAID mode will be explained. More RAID
knowledge can be found on Wikipedia.
The GEN5i uses a 2 disk RAID 0 setup to increase the overall continuous
storage speed. RAID 0 does not offer any enhanced data security. If one of the
disks has a read error, the entire recorded data is lost.
WARNING
Make backup copies of your recorded data to prevent data loss due to
disk errors.
