Mainframe overview

There are five different GEN series mainframes available:

GEN 7t 7
GEN 16t 16
GEN 2i 2
GEN 3i 3
GEN 3t 3
GEN 5i 5
All mainframes have identical technical specification. Main differentiating
specifications are mechanics, power consumption and number of card slots.
Design Comments
Tower Best for smaller count channel
applications and easy to be transported
Rack Offers higher channel counts and be
mounted in a rack or used stand alone
Portable Replaced by GEN3i end of 2013
Portable An integrated all in one portable data
recording solution suitable for field use.
Also suitable for rack mount use.
Portable/Rack Tethered portable data recording
solution suitable for field use. Also
suitable for rack mounted use.
Mobile A larger transportable unit intended for
lab use
