Starting System
S t a r t e r R e p l a c e m e n t
1. Make sure you have the anti-theft codes for the
radio, and the navigation s y s t e m , then write d o w n
the customer's audio presets.
2. Disconnect the negative cable f r o m the battery first,
then disconnect the positive cable.
3. Remove the battery.
4. Remove the lower radiator hose (A) f r o m it c l a m p ,
and remove the t r a n s m i s s i o n dipstick (B).

5. Remove the harness c l a m p (A).
6. Disconnect the starter cable (B) f r o m the B t e r m i n a l ,
then disconnect the BLK/WHT w i r e (C) f r o m the
S t e r m i n a l .
7. Remove the t w o bolts holding the starter, then
remove the starter and gasket (D).
8. Install in the reverse order of removal w i t h a new
gasket. Make sure the c r i m p e d side of the ring
terminal is facing out.
