5.2 SERVICE MODE

5.2.1 REMARKS
Display on the Touch Panel Screen
Since the maximum number of characters which can be displayed on the touch
panel screen is limited (20 characters), the description of SP modes displayed on
the screen needs to be abbreviated. The following are the major abbreviations
used for the SP modes for which the full description is over 20 characters.
Paper Type
N: Normal paper
TH: Thick paper
Color Mode [Color]
[K]: Black in B&W mode
[Y], [M], or [C]: Yellow, Magenta, or Cyan in Full Color mode
[YMC]: Only for Yellow, Magenta, and Cyan
[FC]: Full Color mode
[FC, K], [FC, Y], [FC, M], or [FC, C]: Black, Yellow, Magenta, or Cyan in full
color mode

P: Paper tray
B: By-pass table
Fusing Section
H: Hot roller
P: Pressure roller
