REPLACEMENT
Reassembling the Front Scanner Wire
1. Position the center ball [A]
in the middle of the forked
holder.
2. Pass the right end (with
the ring) [B] through the
square hole, and the left
end (with the ball) [C]
through the notch.
3. Wind the right end
clockwise (viewed from the
machine's front) three
times; wind the left end
counterclockwise five
times.
NOTE: The two red marks [D] should meet when you have finished. Secure
the wire to the pulley with tape, so you can handle the assembly easily
during installation.
4. Install the drive pulley on
the shaft [E].
NOTE: Do not secure the
pulley to the shaft
with the screw yet.
5. Insert the left end of the
wire into the slit [F], with
the end going via the rear
track of the left pulley [G]
and the rear track of the
movable pulley [H].
