5.5 CONTROLLER SELF-DIAGNOSTICS
5.5.1 OVERVIEW
There are two types of self-diagnostics for the controller.
• Power-on self-diagnostics: The machine automatically starts the self-diagnostics
just after the power has been turned on.
• SC detection: The machine automatically detects SC conditions at power-on or
during operation.
The following shows the workflow of the power-on and detailed self-diagnostics.

The messages "xxx MB" and "version number"
depend on the memory capacity and the firmware
version respectively.
While the message "Diagnostic Passed" is
displayed, the following tests and checks are
conducted:
