6.6.9 BY-PASS TRAY

The development drive motor - CMY [A] drives the by-pass tray using a clutch and
a complex train of gears (the location of the gear train is indicated by dotted lines in
the above diagram).
To feed paper, the by-pass pick-up solenoid (not shown in the diagram) moves the
pick-up roller into contact with the top of the stack.
Paper size and end detection are done in the usual manner.
