5.3.2 BIT SWITCH PROGRAMMING
NOTE: Currently, the bit switches are not being used.
1. Press the numeral key (0 to 7) corresponding to the bit number you wish to
change.
Pressing the numeral key changes the setting to either "0" or "1".
NOTE: The left digit on the display is bit 7 and the right digit is bit 0.
2. Press [Enter] to save changes and exit.

Stores the print gamma adjusted with the "Gamma
Adj." menu item as the current setting. Before the
machine stores the new 'current setting', it moves the
data currently stored as the 'current setting' to the
'previous setting' memory storage location.
* Adjusts the maximum toner amount for image
CTL
development.
