5.4 FIRMWARE UPDATE PROCEDURE
5.4.1 TYPE OF FIRMWARE
There are three types of firmware as shown below.
Type of firmware
1. Main
Printer Engine
2. MUSIC
Printer Controller 3. Controller

NOTE: When upgrading all three types of firmware at the same time, you can
upgrade them in any order.
5.4.2 FIRMWARE UPGRADE OVERVIEW
Before attempting to upgrade the firmware, you must obtain the latest firmware
version from the TSC Website at http://tsc.ricohcorp.com. Download the firmware
file to a location on your PC where you will refer to during the upgrade process.
