INSPECTION PROCEDURE 23
The GDI ECO lamp remains on (does not extinguish).
If the GDI ECO lamp does not extinguish during high load operation, the causes
listed in the right column are suspected.
Measure at combination meter connector B-02.
Disconnect the connector, and measure at the harness side.
Disconnect the engine-ECU connector.
Continuity between terminal 11 and earth
OK: No continuity
Replace the engine-ECU.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE 24
Malfunction of the clutch switch system
When the clutch pedal is depressed, the clutch switch sends a signal to the
engine-ECU, and the engine-ECU controls the fuel injection properly based on
this signal. Due to this, engine speed fluctuation is reduced at shifting.
Check the clutch switch. (Refer to
P.13A-109.)

Measure at the clutch switch connector
B-68.
Disconnect the connector, and
measure at the harness side.
(1) Voltage between 2 and earth
(Ignition switch: ON)
OK: System voltage
(2) Continuity between 1 and earth
OK: Continuity
OK
Check the following connectors:

Repair
Check the trouble symptoms.

Replace the engine-ECU.

OK

Replace
(1) NG
Check the harness wire between the
engine-ECU and the clutch switch con-
nector.
Replace the engine-ECU.
(2) NG
Check the harness wire between the
clutch switch connector and the earth,
and repair if necessary.

engine-ECU
Malfunction of the engine-ECU

gine-ECU, and repair if necessary.
