INSPECTION PROCEDURE FOR TROUBLE SYMPTOMS
Inspection Procedure 1
Sunroof does not operate at all.
One of the following items may be defective.
Sunroof switch
Sunroof motor
Sunroof-ECU
Power supply circuit
Earth circuit
Measure at the sunroof-ECU connector
D-06
Disconnect the connector and
measure at the harness side.
Voltage between 7 and body earth
Voltage between 8 and body earth
OK: System voltage
OK
Measure at the sunroof-ECU connector
D-06.
Disconnect the connector and
measure at harness side.
Voltage between 6 and body earth
OK: Continuity
OK
Check sunroof switch continuity. (Refer
to P.42-64.)
OK
Measure at the sunroof -ECU D-06 and
the sunroof swith connector D-08.
Disconnect the connector and
measure at the harness side.
Continuity between the following
terminals
OK: Continuity

Measure at the sunroof switch connec-
tor D-08.
Disconnect the connector and
measure at the harness side.
Voltage between 2 and body

ignition switch and sunroof-ECU, and
repair if necessary.

roof-ECU and the sunroof switch, Re-
pair, if necessary.
Repair
Check the harness between the sunroof
switch and the earth. Repair, if neces-

Replace the sunroof-ECU.
