Inspection Procedure 5
Brake operation is abnormal.
This varies depending on the driving conditions and the road surface conditions,
so problem diagnosis is difficult. However, if a normal diagnosis code is displayed,
carry out the following inspection.
Wheel speed sensor installation in-
spection
OK
Wheel speed sensor output voltage in-
spection (Refer to P.35B-16)
OK
Hydraulic unit check
ABS <2WD> –
NG
Repair
NG
Wheel speed sensor inspection
ABS rotor inspection
Wheel bearing inspection.
Check the following connectors:
A-21, A-02, B-42, D-15, D-14, D-12
Check trouble symptom.
Measure at ABS-ECU connector A-47.
Disconnect the connector and
measure at the harness side.
Resistance value between terminals
1 – 3, 4 – 5, 6 – 7 and 8 – 9.
OK: 1.28 – 1.92 kΩ
(The sensor harness and connector
should be moved while these
inspections are carried out.)
Check the following connector:
A-47
Check trouble symptom.
