Automatic operation is not possible.
Automatic operation is not possible before carrying out the initial setting operation
when the battery terminals are disconnected or a fuse or power window regulator
assembly is replaced. The cause may also be a malfunction of the power window
switch or the power window regulator assembly.
<Driver's side>
Carry out the initial setting operation.
(Refer to P.42-31.)
Check trouble symptoms.

Power window main switch check
(Refer to P.42-40.)
OK
Measure at the power window motor
connector E-11.
Ignition switch (IG2): ON
Disconnect the connector and
measure at harness side.
Voltage between 2 and body earth
(When switch is at AUTO)
OK: System voltage
OK
Replace the power window regulator
assembly.
<Passenger's side>
Carry out the initial setting operation.
(Refer to P.42-31.)
Check trouble symptoms.

Power window main switch check

Power window sub-switch check

Measure at the power window sub-
switch connector E-14.
Disconnect the connector and
measure at harness side.
Voltage between 1 and body earth
(When main switch is at AUTO)

nector E-21.
Disconnect the connector and
measure at the harness side.
Voltage between 2 and body earth
(When sub-switch is at AUTO)
OK: System voltage
OK
Replace the power window regulator
assembly.
