INSPECTION PROCEDURE 2
MUT-II communication with engine-ECU is impossible.
One of the following causes may be suspected.
No power supply to engine-ECU.
Defective earth circuit of engine-ECU.
Defective engine-ECU.
Improper communication line between engine-ECU and MUT-II
Check the following connectors:
B-09, B-19, B-30, B-60X
Check trouble symptom.
Check the harness wire between engine-ECU and diagnosis con-
nector.
Check the engine-ECU power supply and earth circuit system.
(Refer to P.13A-65, INSPECTION PROCEDURE 25.)
NOTE
On vehicles with the multi-center display, if a malfunction cannot be resolved after the procedure above, check
the multi-center display and replace if necessary. (Refer to GROUP 54 – Multi-center display.)
