Inspection Procedure 13
Doors do not lock or unlock when the tailgate key cylinder
is operated.
The tailgate key cylinder switch may be defective.
Tailgate lock key cylinder switch
continuity check (Refer to P.42-44.)
OK
Measure at the tailgate lock key cylinder
switch connector F-11.
Disconnect the connector and
measure at the harness side.
Voltage between 1 and body earth
Voltage between 3 and body earth
OK: System voltage
OK
Check the following connectors:
F-05, D-16, B-67X, B-21*
NG
Repair
*: with keyless entry system

switch is operated.
The door lock switch (driver's side) may be defective.
Door lock switch (driver's side) check
(Refer to P.42-44.)

Measure at the door lock switch con-
nector (driver's side) E-02.
Disconnect the connector and
measure at the harness side.
Voltage between 1 and body earth
Voltage between 3 and body

OK: System voltage

Check the following connectors:
B-41, B-67X, B-21*

Check the harness between the
door lock-ECU and tailgate key
cylinder switch, and repair if
necessary.

gate key cylinder switch and earth, and
repair if necessary.
