Usage
Each ERP instance will be associated with a physical ring profile. A physical ring
profile is made up of two physical Ethernet ports or aggregated interfaces, unless
it is the terminating point of a sub-ring in which case only one port is needed.
When two ports are used, they are referred to as East and West ports. When only a
single port is used, it is referred to as a Terminating port.
Example
To create a physical ring profile named "red" where the East interface port is
"port1.0.5" and the West interface port is "port1.0.6", use the following commands:
awplus#
awplus(config)#
port1.0.5 west-interface port1.0.6
