NOTIFICATIONS

lldp med-notifications

Overview
Use this command to enable LLDP to send LLDP-MED Topology Change Detected
SNMP notifications relating to the specified ports. The switch sends an SNMP event
notification when a new LLDP-MED compliant IP Telephony device is connected to
or disconnected from a port on the switch.
Use the no variant of this command to disable the sending of LLDP-MED Topology
Change Detected notifications relating to the specified ports.

Default
The sending of LLDP-MED notifications is disabled by default.

Examples
To enable the sending of LLDP-MED Topology Change Detected notifications
relating to ports 1.0.1 and 1.0.6, use the commands:
