Recommended Action
Take either of the following
actions:
1.
Check the serial number,
SSID or CU number of the
RCU, and retry the
operation with correct
parameters.
2.
Check the connection LCP
ports of the RCU. Connect
the path correctly, and
retry the operation.
Check the storage system
cache status of the MCU from
the host. If it is off, set it on
and retry. If it cannot be set
on, call HP technical support.
There is an invalid cache or
shared memory status on the
MCU. Check the status and
recover the cache or shared
memory, and then retry the
operation.
Call HP technical support.
Call HP technical support.
Check the track formats of the
specified M-VOL and R-VOL.
Verify the following items for
the specified M-VOL and
R-VOL.
If the emulation types
match each other.
In the case of LUSE
volume, if the capacity of
each volume combined in
the LUSE matches each
other.
In the case of mainframe
system, if the capacity of
copy target is larger than
that of copy source.
Check the device cache
status of R-VOL from host. If
it is off, set it on and retry. If
it cannot be set on, call HP
technical support.
Check the DFW status of the
R-VOL from the host. If it is
off, set it on and retry. If it
cannot be set on, call HP
technical support.
Confirm the status of the
specified R-VOL.
