Engine wiring: Removal - Refitting
F4R or M4R
- the R 179 connectors,
- the oil level sensor connector,
- the oil pressure sensor connector,
- the pinking sensor connector,
- the air conditioning compressor connectors,
a Connect the alternator connector (58) .
a Refit:
- the alternator wiring,
- the alternator nut (59) .
a Torque tighten the alternator positive terminal nut
(8 Nm).
WIRING HARNESS

a Refit:
- the starter wiring,
- the nut on the positive terminal of the starter (60) ,
- the nut on the excitation terminal of the starter (61)
.
a Tighten to torque:
- the nut on the positive terminal of the starter (8
Nm),
- the nut on the excitation terminal of the starter
(5 Nm).
III - FINAL OPERATION.
F4R
a Tighten the bolts of the intercooler outlet air pipe on
the throttle valve.
M4R
a Refit the crankshaft position sensor protector.
a Tighten the bolts on the crankshaft position sensor
protector.
a Refit:
- the max fuse box,
