10.5 AV Code Block

The AV Code block is used to insert AV codes into the video data stream. The codes follow the
standards outlined in ITU-R BT.656 - 4.
The following functions are supported by this block:
• The AV Code insertion can be enabled or disabled.
• Data between the end of active video (EAV) and the start of active video (SAV) can be
blanked, for example, overwritten with default values. This function can be enabled or
disabled. In addition, the default blanking value can be set for RGB or YPbPr.
