15 Hardware Design

15.1 Power Supply Sequence

The ADV7604 has six power supplies on two power domains, 1.8V and 3.3V. The following is the
power supply sequence recommendation.
For individual power supplies on the ADV7604:
1. DVDDIO (3.3V)
2. TVDD (3.3V)
3. DVDD (1.8V)
4. CVDD (1.8V)
5. AVDD (1.8V)
6. PVDD (1.8V)
All supplies on similar voltage levels on the ADV7604 may be grouped. Using this approach, it must
be ensured through power supply design and board layout that all 3.3V supplies rise at the same time
followed by all 1.8V supplies at the same time. There should be a 400ms delay between 3.3V
supplies being enabled and 1.8V supplies being enabled.
1. DVDDIO + TVDD (3.3V)
2. DVDD + CVDD + AVDD + PVDD (1.8V)
