13.3 AV.link Receive Module

The AV.link receive module incorporates the functions of the AV.link device as follower. The host
utilizes the AV.link receiver module to receive the messages on the AV.link bus. The host, ready to
accept messages, informs the receive module by setting the AVL_RX_EN register to 1. The AV.link
receiver module starts monitoring the AV.link bus and accepts messages. When any message, except
for a polling message, is completed in the received buffer, the AV.link receiver module sets
AVLINK_RX_READY high to indicate the reception of a message. The host can then read the
received buffer to get the message that was addressed to the AV.link receiver.
