Analog Input Muxing

The ADV7604 has twelve analog input pins, Ain1 to Ain12. In order to process the video signals
that appear on the analog inputs, a multiplexer is required to route the signals to the three ADCs.

6.3.1 Analog Input Routing Recommendation

It is recommended to perform the following routing:
• RGB Graphics − Ain 7, 8, 9
• Component 1 − Ain10, 11, 12
• Component 2 − Ain 4, 5, 6
• SCART (RGB) − Ain 1, 2, 3
Refer to the ADV7604 Evaluation Board for the recommended board layout.
