2.3.7 Traffic Statistics Configuration Example

I. Networking requirement
Suppose the IP address of PC1 is 1.0.0.1 and that of PC2 is 2.0.0.2. The switch is
uplinked through the port GE7/0/8. Count the packets sent 8:00~18:00 each day from
the switch to PC1.

III. Configuration procedure
1)
Define the time range 8:00~18:00.
# Define the time range.
[Quidway] time-range huawei 8:00 to 18:00 daily
2)
Define traffic rules for PC1 packets.
# Define traffic classification rules for PC1 packets.
[Quidway] acl number 2000
[Quidway-acl-basic-2000] rule 0 permit source 1.1.1.1 0.0.0.0 time-range huawei
3)
Count PC1 packets, view the statistics with the display command.
# Enter QoS view.
[Quidway-GigabitEthernet7/0/1] qos
[Quidway-qosb-GigabitEthernet7/0/1]
# Count PC1 packets, view the statistics with the display command.
