Forced Stop

This function stops axes with the forced stop signal. The forced stop function is valid to axes which have function of
positioning control and velocity/torque control. For details, refer to the following.
Page 37 Axis Type
WARNING
• When the forced stop is required to be wired, ensure to wire it in the negative logic, and b-contact is recommended.
• When using the forced stop function, confirm the wiring and the settings, and check whether it works or not at startup.
The forced stop function immediately stops the instruction and issues "Quick Stop" to the slave device at the
same time. For operation when "Quick Stop" is issued, refer to the manual of the slave device.
Refer to the manual of the driver unit after the forced stop signal is sent.

Details
Sets a signal using the each axis forced stop.
ForcedStop_Signal is the structure of SIGNAL_SELECT type. For details of
SIGNAL_SELECT type, refer to the following.
Page 356 External Signal Selection
The specific setting and the operation of this signal are shown below.
• IO No.
Ignores the input value.
• Target
When the specification is not set, signal disabled is determined and the
signal undetection status is always set.
When unavailable data is set, the error "Target of Forced Stop Signal
Incorrect" (error code: 1AC7H) is output.
Type [CONST] can be used.
• Signal detection method
The specification is allowed at the following level detection only. When
edge detection specification is set, the error "Out of Signal Logical Setting
of Forced Stop Signal Range" (error code: 1AD4H) is output.
0: HighLevel (Detection at TRUE)
1: LowLevel (Detection at FALSE)
• Compensation time
Ignores the input value.
• Filter time
Setting range of the filter time is 0.0 to +5.0.
When a value outside the range is set, the warning "Out of Filter Time
Setting of Forced Stop Signal Range Warning" (warning code: 0D27H) is
output.
The fetch timing of the label is at ready ON, and the detection timing of the
signal is the axis operation cycle.
1: ImmediateStop (Immediate stop)
2: KeepCurrentAcc (Keep current acceleration/deceleration)
3: AlternativeAcc (Alternative acceleration/deceleration)
(Immediate stop will be executed when executing instructions without
deceleration specification.)
FALSE: Forced stop input TRUE (Forced stop)
TRUE: Forced stop input FALSE (Forced stop release)
