Velocity set range

The following table describes the velocity range that can be specified in each parameter. For the set range when using the
override function, refer to the following.
Page 321 Override Function
Name
Target velocity
*1 If the set velocity is "0" when the FB is executed in the buffer mode, it will be the previous commanded velocity.
The lower limit value of the target velocity is limited by the following restrictions to carry out floating-point operation.
• If the speed that is converted from target velocity to operation cycle is less than 0.00001, the error "Out of Speed Range"
(error code: 1A4DH) (if the speed is changed, the warning "Out of Speed Range Warning" (warning code: 0D0FH) occurs)
occurs.
To improve the precision of floating-point operation, specify the speed that is converted into operation cycle so as not to be
less than 0.00001 by changing AxisName(AxesGroupName).Pr.Unit_Position or
AxisName(AxesGroupName).Pr.Unit_Velocity.
Ex.
AxisName(AxesGroupName).Pr.Unit_Position H00000000(pluse),
AxisName(AxesGroupName).Pr.Unit_Velocity H00000300(pluse/s)
If target velocity is specified to 0.0001 at operation cycle 0.5ms
Operation cycle converted speed = 0.0001 pluse/s  1000  0.5ms = 0.00000005 pluse ...the error "Out of Speed Range"
(error code: 1A4DH)
If AxisName(AxesGroupName).Pr.Unit_Position is changed to HFD000000( 10-3 pluse) and target velocity is changed to
0.1,
Operation cycle converted speed = 0.1  10
Range
*1
0, +0.0001 to +2500000000.0
*1
