Cam table
The following explains cam operations at MC_CamIn execution when the periodic mode, master axis absolute coordinate, or
slave axis absolute coordinate, is set as optional information at MC_CamTableSelect.
■Periodic mode
The following explains the operation at MC_CamIn execution when periodic mode is set.
• Periodic mode (0: Non periodic) is specified
MC_CamIn stops when reaching to the end point of cam table. MC_Camln (cam operation) does not restart even if Master is
reversed to the end point of the cam table.
• Periodic mode (1: Periodic) is specified
Cam table execution is repeated continuously. When the positions of Slave at the cam table start point are the same each
time by repeating, cam is operated as a two-way cam. When the set points at the start point and the end point are different,
cam is operated as a feed cam.
