• The motion software creates the [inst] or [instnew] folder in the root of the SD memory card. Store the file in
the folder.
[instnew] folder: When newly installing the file (The file is transmitted after the system drive is formatted.)
[inst] folder: When updating (overwriting) and when installing an additional module
• When installation could not be normally completed because an error was detected after installation was
started, RUN LED turns OFF, and PROGRAM RUN LED and CARD READY LED shows "fast flashing".
After dealing with the error, carry out installation again.
When reading the SD memory card is abnormal, check the SD memory card.
When the installation file is abnormal or when it cannot be recognized, check the installation file.
When the system folder is abnormal, format it with instnew then install the file again.
• The forced stop function of the SD memory card cannot be used during installation execution from the SD
memory card. Do not remove the SD memory card during installation.

Description
Flashing (every 500 ms): Executing software version
up
Turning on: Software version up is normally
completed
Flashing (every 200 ms): Software version up is
completed with an error.
Remedy
Wait until software version up is completed.
Reset the system, and check that the CPU module can
be normally turned RUN/STOP.
Turn the power of CPU module OFF and ON, or reset the
system, then execute software version up again.
