The preceding commands provide a general health check of the system in addition to the show
tech command. Also check the LED status of the I/O card and the CPUs More data may be
required when troubleshooting each specific issue where in-depth debugging is required.

To collect IP route information for troubleshooting, use the commands in the following table.

Data collection commands
Description
Displays spanning tree
topology changes.
Displays MLT configuration.
Displays port state
information.
Displays IST message
statistics.
Displays main MLT errors.
Description
Displays all configured IP
interfaces. Shows all IP
interfaces, whether they are
VLAN or port assigned.
Displays the existing IP route
table for the switch, or
specific network or subnet if
specified.
Displays the static IP routes
for the router.
Displays ARP table with the
MAC and IP address of
members that are assigned
to VLANs (directly connected
to the router).
If you are able to ping the
specified IP, this command
shows the port to which it is
assigned.
