Configuring SNMP interfaces

If the Avaya Ethernet Routing Switch 8800/8600 has multiple interfaces, configure the IP
interface from which the SNMP traps originate.
Prerequisites
• Access Global Configuration mode.

Activates the generation of authentication traps.
Enables the automatic configuration of the SNMP and
IP sender to the same value. The default is false.
